Beginning in January 2010, The Mary Baker Eddy Library will host events in which writers, artists and others and examine the significance of Eddy's story in her time and ours. Learn more about our Centenary Series, "Strength of Spirit—Engaging with Mary Baker Eddy 100 Years Later."
"Writer/Performer/Producer Talk"

Val Kilmer discusses the development of his film project about the life of Mary Baker Eddy. Thursday, February 11, at 7 p.m. To make an advance reservation, click here. Please note: Hall of Ideas seating is sold out, but overflow seating is still available.

 

"The Art of Reading"

Free admission for children 5-17 during February school vacation, including Mapparium® tours. There will also be story time every hour from children’s books based on the theme of giving and children will be invited to depict a story they have read themselves or one which has been read to them. February 16-19, 2010.

"Author Talk"

Author Gillian Gill introduces We Two, her biography on Queen Victoria and Prince Albert and shares insights from her other acclaimed biographies on Mary Baker Eddy, Florence Nightingale, and Agatha Christie. Thursday, March 11, at 7 p.m. To make an advance reservation, click here.
