Boston's largest, single, free day of arts and cultural events is back for the ninth year. Open to the public, with a kick-off on Christian Science Plaza at 10 a.m. October 11, 2010
"Radical Times, Radical Minds: Eddy and the Alcotts"
This panel discussion will feature authors and scholars John Matteson and Lisa Stepanski, with a reenactment by Jan Turnquist as Louisa May Alcott. October 19, at 7 p.m.
"New Visions in Social Change"
David Bornstein, author and journalist, joins others in discussing the forces driving today's social change.Thursday, November 4, at 7 p.m.
"Caring for Christmas: A Nineteenth-Century American Story."
This holiday revue will feature a reprise and expansion of last year's performance. The original script and music will be performed by a local children's choir. Sunday, December 5, at 2 p.m.
