Kids: Become a curator for the day

Go behind the scenes at The Mary Baker Eddy Library at its “Curator’s Camp for Kids,” on Saturday, July 25.

Library archivist and curators will be on hand to give your children ages 9 to 12—a one–of–a–kind experience. Children will don white gloves and get to work learning to preserve photographs, documents, and artifacts.

Bring your own family treasure and learn how to preserve it for generations to come. Also, take home your very own curator’s kit and continue to practice what you learn!

Two sessions will be held: one 10 to noon; the other 1 to 3 p.m. Cost is $20 per child. One parent or guardian stays with the child, but is admitted free. RSVP required by Monday, July 20: 617-450-7330; groupvisits@mbelibrary.org; 200 Massachusetts Ave., Boston.
