First Night 2010

Ring in the New Year at The Mary Baker Eddy Library!

New Year’s Eve 2010 once again found The Mary Baker Eddy Library buzzing with activities.

Entertaining attendees were three groups: Project STEP (children classical orchestra) at 11 a.m.; Stajez (hip–hop dance group) at 1:30 p.m.; and SCIM Youth Band (children’s dulcimer group) at 3 p.m.

Throughout the day, there was also plenty to keep families involved and excited, including face painting, arts and crafts, and crown making for the city–wide parade.

Refreshments of cookies, apple cider, and hot chocolate were served. Official First Night Boston buttons were also on sale at the Library on New Years Eve and were accepted throughout January and February at the Library for half-price admission.
