Web Forum

What’s the thinking behind the recent programming, “Strength of Spirit: Engaging with Mary Baker Eddy 100 Years Later”?

That kind of question goes to core of the live Web forum that The Mary Baker Eddy Library hosted on its 2010 programming series. On April 8, from 2 to 3 p.m., Library President and Executive Manager Lesley Pitts, and noted biographer, Gillian Gill, author of Mary Baker Eddy, answered questions posed through our Web site by users as far away as London, England.

Visitors were able to submit questions through this site from 1:30 until 3 p.m. on the day of the forum. Jonathon Eder, manager of Library programs moderated the conversation from 2 to 3 p.m., by directing listener questions to the studio guests, and inviting discussion of the purpose and effects of the centenary series, of the Library itself, and of Mary Baker Eddy's life, including Gill's biography.
