Visiting Research & Reference Services
Research & Reference Services provides access to original materials that document the life of Mary Baker Eddy and the church that she founded. The collections include letters, manuscripts, organizational records, photographs, artifacts, books, periodicals, audiovisuals, and other materials available for in-depth research.
Research & Reference Services is located on the 4th floor of the Library, and is open Tuesday through Friday, 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and the first Saturday of August, and November. Please note: From January 31 through May 22, our fourth-floor Research Room will be closed to on-site visitors. However, we can still assist you online or by phone. You’re also welcome to explore documents in the Mary Baker Eddy Papers Project. In 2017 there will be no First Saturday openings in February or May.
You can call our research line at 617-450-7218 or email research questions to our staff using this form.
