Damals hatte jede Lektion ein anderes Thema auf der Grundlage der <i>International Series<\/i> [Internationale Reihe], einer \u00fcberkonfessionellen Publikation zum Bibelstudium. Hierzu passend empfehlen wir den Artikel <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marybakereddylibrary.org\/research\/the-development-of-the-christian-science-quarterly\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The development of the <i>Quarterly<\/i><\/a> [Die Entwicklung des <i>Vierteljahreshefts<\/i>].<\/p>\n<p>Eddy hat 1898 die festgelegte Wiederholung von 26 w\u00f6chentlichen Themen eingef\u00fchrt.<span id='easy-footnote-2-90752' class='easy-footnote-margin-adjust'><\/span><span class='easy-footnote'><a href='https:\/\/www.marybakereddylibrary.org\/de\/research\/warum-gibt-es-keine-bibellektion-zum-thema-prinzip\/#easy-footnote-bottom-2-90752' title='Mary Baker Eddy an das Bibellektionskomitee, 26. April 1898. L07294.'><sup>2<\/sup><\/a><\/span> Wir haben keine Unterlagen dar\u00fcber, warum sie \u201eP<span style=\"font-variant: small-caps;\">rinzip<\/span>\u201c nicht als Thema der Lektionen gew\u00e4hlt hat. Doch unsere Recherchen haben ergeben, dass sie sicher war, dass ihre Auswahl g\u00f6ttlich inspiriert war.<\/p>\n<p>Irving Tomlinson, ein Sch\u00fcler Mrs. Eddys und Mitglied des Bibellektionskomitees der Ersten Kirche Christi, Wissenschaftler, schrieb 1945 in seinem Buch <i>Zw\u00f6lf Jahre mit Mary Baker Eddy<\/i>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Einige Jahre nach Festlegung dieser Bibellektionen \u00e4u\u00dferte sich ein Mitglied des Komitees unbefriedigt dar\u00fcber, dass Mrs. Eddy nur 26 Themen f\u00fcr die Bibellektionen vorgesehen hatte. Ein Komitee, das sich aus Mitarbeitern in der Mutterkirche zusammensetzte, ging daran, in dem Gedanken, dass man wenigstens ein Thema f\u00fcr jeden Sonntag im Jahr haben sollte, eine zus\u00e4tzliche Liste von 26 Themen aufzustellen. Da ich ein Mitglied des Bibellektionskomitees war und in Concord wohnte, wurde ich gebeten, Mrs. Eddy diese Themen vorzulegen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Ich tat es, und erst viele Wochen sp\u00e4ter h\u00f6rte ich wieder etwas \u00fcber diese vorgeschlagenen Themen. Am 13. September 1901 wurde ich zusammen mit anderen in einer gesch\u00e4ftlichen Angelegenheit, die Mrs. Eddy betraf, nach Pleasant View gerufen, und die kleine Gruppe versammelte sich zu der Besprechung in der Bibliothek. Als das Gesch\u00e4ftliche erledigt war, forderte mich Mrs. Eddy auf, neben ihr Platz zu nehmen, und indem sie sich zu mir wandte, sagte sie so energisch, dass ich fast vom Sofa hochschnellte: \u201eDas ist nichts \u2013 das ist nichts!\u201c Was sie meinte, wusste ich nicht, aber sie lie\u00df mich nicht lange im Ungewissen und fuhr fort: \u201eDie zus\u00e4tzlich aufgestellten Themen, die mir f\u00fcr die Lektionen gesandt wurden, sind unn\u00f6tig. Sie k\u00f6nnen alle unter den gegenw\u00e4rtigen Themen behandelt werden, die jedes einzelne von denen, die Sie mir gaben, einschlie\u00dfen.
