La autor\u00eda de \u201cMente y Cuerpo\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Una de las preguntas que se hace con m\u00e1s frecuencia al personal de Servicios de Investigaci\u00f3n y Referencia se refiere a un art\u00edculo titulado \u201cMente y Cuerpo\u201d, o simplemente \u201cEl cuerpo\u201d. Comienza con un aviso:<\/p>\n

La siguiente Declaraci\u00f3n fue registrada como propiedad literaria por Mary Baker G. Eddy en la Biblioteca del Congreso de Washington, D.C. el 19 de enero de 1886.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

La primera oraci\u00f3n dice lo siguiente:<\/p>\n

La expresi\u00f3n Mente y cuerpo literalmente significa Dios y el hombre, pues el hombre es la expresi\u00f3n de la Mente, y la manifestaci\u00f3n de la Mente es la encarnaci\u00f3n de la Mente.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Si bien hemos visto este texto antes, no hemos encontrado ninguna evidencia de que Eddy lo haya escrito. De hecho, la Biblioteca del Congreso no tiene en sus archivos ning\u00fan registro de dicha declaraci\u00f3n. Por lo tanto, no podemos autenticarla, y no tenemos informaci\u00f3n respecto a su autor.<\/p>\n
