La premi\u00e8re partie \u00e9tait consacr\u00e9e \u00e0 M. Bettie Bell, \u00e9l\u00e8ve de Mary Baker Eddy. Dans cette deuxi\u00e8me partie, nous nous int\u00e9ressons \u00e0 d’autres m\u00e8res de famille qui ont \u00e9galement \u00e9tudi\u00e9 avec Mary Baker Eddy avant de d\u00e9buter une carri\u00e8re dans la pratique publique de la gu\u00e9rison.<\/em><\/p>\n

Lizzie Filbert s’int\u00e9resse \u00e0 la Science Chr\u00e9tienne apr\u00e8s que Jennie Fenn, \u00e9l\u00e8ve de Mary Baker Eddy, lui donne un traitement par la pri\u00e8re en Science Chr\u00e9tienne. Elle suit le Cours Primaire avec Mary Baker Eddy en 1886. En 1885, Lizzie Filbert \u00e9crit \u00e0 Mary Baker Eddy<\/a> pour lui demander si sa s\u0153ur et elle peuvent suivre un cours s\u00e9par\u00e9ment \u00e0 un prix r\u00e9duit\u00a0:<\/p>\n

J’ai \u00e9galement une s\u0153ur qui est impatiente de savoir quel serait votre prix pour nous deux et si cela changerait quelque chose si nous ne venions pas ensemble car nous avons toutes les deux une famille[.] J’ai un b\u00e9b\u00e9 d’un an, et pour cette raison, j’aimerais venir seule afin de pouvoir lui laisser mon b\u00e9b\u00e9 pendant mon absence[.] Puis, \u00e0 mon tour, je pourrais rester aupr\u00e8s de sa famille en son absence.<\/span>1<\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Un certain nombre de lettres d\u00e9peignent des femmes qui s’\u00e9paulent pour faire face aux difficult\u00e9s de la vie. Un exemple particuli\u00e8rement touchant nous vient de Janet Colman. Apr\u00e8s un accouchement difficile, elle a perdu son b\u00e9b\u00e9. Son mari, qui suivait le Cours Primaire avec Mary Baker Eddy, a d\u00fb partir avant la fin pour retourner pr\u00e9cipitamment aupr\u00e8s de sa famille. Mais en son absence, Jennie Fenn a aid\u00e9 Janet Colman, laquelle \u00e9crit ceci \u00e0 Mary Baker Eddy<\/a>\u00a0:<\/p>\n

Madame Fenn est devenue \u00e0 mes yeux une femme admirable et une amie pr\u00e9cieuse, et j’ai beaucoup de raisons de la remercier, elle et tous mes amis \u00e0 Boston, pour le travail qu’ils ont fait pour moi. La m\u00e9moire que j’avais avant d’\u00eatre prise dans cette croyance me revient peu \u00e0 peu. Les m\u00e9decins disent qu’ils n’ont jamais connu personne qui se soit r\u00e9tabli de ce que j’ai eu.<\/span>2<\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

R\u00e9ponse de Mary Baker Eddy<\/a>\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Dieu est bon et Sa mis\u00e9ricorde dure \u00e9ternellement. Que l’Amour \u00e9ternel soit en abondance pour tous Ses chers enfants\u00a0; dites \u00e0 Madame Fenn que je lui suis profond\u00e9ment reconnaissante.\u00a0\u00bb<\/span>3<\/sup><\/a><\/span> A l’\u00e9poque, Janet Colman et Jennie Fenn travaillaient toutes les deux \u00e0 l’\u00e9tablissement de la Science Chr\u00e9tienne au Nebraska.<\/p>\n

Toutes ces femmes ont contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 l’\u00e9tablissement de la Science Chr\u00e9tienne dans leurs r\u00e9gions respectives. Et elles ont eu une longue carri\u00e8re de praticiennes et de professeures de Science Chr\u00e9tienne.<\/p>\n
