Nous recevons de nombreuses questions \u00e0 propos d\u2019un texte intitul\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0Prayer for Oneself\u00a0\u00bb (\u00ab\u00a0Pri\u00e8re pour soi-m\u00eame\u00a0\u00bb). Il commence ainsi\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Je te remercie P\u00e8re-M\u00e8re Dieu de ce qu\u2019aucun entendement mortel ignorant, frauduleux ou malveillant ne peut m\u2019atteindre.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Nous n\u2019avons pu trouver aucune preuve que Mary Baker Eddy soit l\u2019auteure de cette pri\u00e8re. Nous ne savons pas non plus qui en est l\u2019auteur.<\/p>\n

Cette pri\u00e8re a \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9e pour la premi\u00e8re fois en 1958, dans le livre de Richard Oakes intitul\u00e9 Course in Divinity and General Collectanea<\/em> [Cours de th\u00e9ologie et recueil g\u00e9n\u00e9ral] (aussi connu sous le nom de \u00ab\u00a0livre bleu\u00a0\u00bb). Ce livre est essentiellement compos\u00e9 de documents rassembl\u00e9s par Gilbert Carpenter et son fils Gilbert C. Carpenter, Jr. Cependant, c\u2019est Richard Oakes lui-m\u00eame qui y a ajout\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0Pri\u00e8re pour soi-m\u00eame\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n
