La s\u0153ur de Laura Sargent, Victoria Sargent, \u00e9tait \u00e9galement \u00e9l\u00e8ve de Mary Baker Eddy. Certaines des personnes qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 des \u00e9l\u00e8ves de Victoria Sargent ont par la suite publi\u00e9 leurs souvenirs, notamment celui-ci&nbsp;:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Elle [Laura] a \u00e9t\u00e9 sollicit\u00e9e par Mary Baker Eddy pour s\u2019occuper de la comptabilit\u00e9 de la maisonn\u00e9e. Ce n\u2019\u00e9tait pas dans ses comp\u00e9tences, et elle a dit \u00e0 Mary Baker Eddy qu\u2019elle ne connaissait rien \u00e0 la comptabilit\u00e9. \u00ab&nbsp;Laura, lui a dit Mary Baker Eddy, Dieu est un Dieu des affaires. Sargent), 1953.'><sup>1<\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Cet \u00e9nonc\u00e9 appara\u00eet \u00e9galement dans les souvenirs de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marybakereddylibrary.org\/research\/who-was-william-curtis-coffman\/\">William Curtis Coffman<\/a>, qui \u00e9tait lui aussi un \u00e9l\u00e8ve de Victoria Sargent.<\/p>\n<p>Nous avons trouv\u00e9 un autre exemple o\u00f9 Mary Baker Eddy utilise le terme \u00ab\u00a0Dieu des affaires\u00a0\u00bb, dans une lettre \u00e0 Edward P. Bates. En plus d\u2019\u00e9tudier la Science Chr\u00e9tienne avec Mary Baker Eddy, il a occup\u00e9 plusieurs postes importants dans les premiers temps de La Premi\u00e8re Eglise du Christ, Scientiste, et il a supervis\u00e9 divers projets de construction, y compris la construction de l\u2019\u00e9difice original de L\u2019Eglise M\u00e8re.
