Cook.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On nous a r\u00e9cemment interrog\u00e9s sur une analogie attribu\u00e9e \u00e0 Mary Baker Eddy, \u00e0 propos d\u2019un pont enjambant une zone inspirant le d\u00e9go\u00fbt. Est-elle authentique\u00a0?<\/p>\n<p>D\u2019apr\u00e8s les souvenirs de Janet T. Colman (1849-1920), Mary Baker Eddy a effectivement parl\u00e9 de ce pont\u00a0:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Durant l\u2019un de nos cours, elle [Mary Baker Eddy] a parl\u00e9 d\u2019un magnifique pont blanc&nbsp;; en dessous, ce n\u2019\u00e9tait que boue, serpents venimeux, reptiles, tout ce qui est impur, b\u00eates sauvages. Elle nous a demand\u00e9 quel chemin nous prendrions&nbsp;: choisirions-nous de marcher sur le pont blanc ou de passer en dessous&nbsp;? Nous avons tous r\u00e9pondu que nous marcherions sur le pont blanc. Elle a souri et dit que nous marcherions effectivement sur ce pont, mais seulement apr\u00e8s avoir march\u00e9 en dessous et tout d\u00e9montr\u00e9, car l\u2019entendement mortel doit d\u2019abord \u00eatre vaincu dans sa totalit\u00e9.<span id='easy-footnote-1-91093' class='easy-footnote-margin-adjust'><\/span><span class='easy-footnote'><a href='https:\/\/www.marybakereddylibrary.org\/fr\/research\/mary-baker-eddy-a-t-elle-decrit-un-magnifique-pont-blanc\/#easy-footnote-bottom-1-91093' title='Janet T. Elle a suivi trois cours de Science Chr\u00e9tienne avec Mary Baker Eddy\u00a0: le Cours Primaire en 1883, le Cours Normal en 1885 et un cours d\u2019obst\u00e9trique en 1887.<span
