Caring for Christmas 2013: featuring Eli Gauden

For its fifth year, The Mary Baker Eddy Library’s holiday show, “Caring for Christmas,” shifted from a historical to a contemporary focus, highlighting the spirit of caring in our community and throughout the world.

In song, verse, and story, the production looked back at a year that was both about “Boston Strong” and “Boston Tender,” and about a world drawn together in its hopes and promise, as well its challenges.

Songwriters, musicians, choruses, and ensembles with young performers from Boston-based music programs at Zumix, Berklee College of Music, and Cellos 352, along with local actors, reflected a new generation of voices, visions, and virtuosity in celebrating the season and the community.
