We\u2019ll also explore the role of women as healers in both churches.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Podcast guest<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-23122 alignright\" style=\"padding-top: 7px;\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Dr-Jenny-Reader_93x100px.jpg\" alt=\"Dr. Jenny Reader\" width=\"93\" height=\"100\" \/><strong>Dr. Jenny Reeder<\/strong> is a nineteenth-century women\u2019s historian with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She has co-edited two volumes\u2014<em>The Witness of Women: Firsthand Experiences and Testimonies of the Restoration <\/em>and <em>At the Pulpit: 185 Years of Discourses by Latter-day Saint Women<\/em>. Reeder earned a PhD from George Mason University in American history, with an emphasis in women\u2019s religious history, memory, and material culture. She received her MA from New York University in history, archival management, and documentary editing.
