Ele come\u00e7a: \u201cEm tuas ora\u00e7\u00f5es a respeito de dinheiro, entendes tu que est\u00e1s trabalhando com o pensamento a respeito do deus deste mundo, e que, portanto, \u00e9 a base da cren\u00e7a de vida na mat\u00e9ria?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e3o encontramos nenhuma evid\u00eancia de que a Sra. Eddy tenha escrito ou originado esse artigo. Aparentemente, foi originado por indiv\u00edduos que deixaram de ser membros, ou n\u00e3o eram filiados \u00c0 Igreja M\u00e3e. Entre eles est\u00e3o o Rev. Glenn Andrews Kratzer, Elizabeth Cary Kratzer e Stephen H. Alison.<\/p>\n<p>Em abril de 1916, Elizabeth Kratzer escreveu um livro que inclui excertos de \u201cPensamento sobre dinheiro\u201d, intitulado <em>Individual Completeness; or, The Male and Female of God\u2019s Creating<\/em> [Completude individual; ou, O macho e f\u00eamea da cria\u00e7\u00e3o de Deus], publicado por seu marido, Glenn Kratzer. Em setembro de 1916, Alison lan\u00e7ou uma revista que publicou o artigo completo e afirmou que o documento era constitu\u00eddo de anota\u00e7\u00f5es \u201cfeitas por um dos primeiros alunos da Sra. Eddy, a respeito do que ela ensinou com rela\u00e7\u00e3o a pensar sobre dinheiro\u201d, <span id='easy-footnote-1-64738' class='easy-footnote-margin-adjust'><\/span><span class='easy-footnote'><a href='https:\/\/www.marybakereddylibrary.org\/pt-br\/research\/foi-mary-baker-eddy-quem-escreveu-pensamento-sobre-dinheiro\/#easy-footnote-bottom-1-64738' title='Anota\u00e7\u00f5es \u201cfeitas por um dos primeiros alunos da Sra. Eddy, a respeito do que ela ensinou com rela\u00e7\u00e3o a pensar sobre dinheiro\u201d &lt;em&gt;The Christian Scientist &lt;\/em&gt;[O Cientista Crist\u00e3o], setembro de 1916, pp. 5\u20137.'><sup>1<\/sup><\/a><\/span>\u00a0 Essas supostas anota\u00e7\u00f5es n\u00e3o existem na atualidade. Al\u00e9m disso, em nenhum lugar de seus escritos a Sra. Eddy usou a express\u00e3o \u201cpensamento sobre dinheiro\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Em 1933, o <em>Christian Science Sentinel<\/em> informou os leitores sobre as origens do artigo \u201cPensamento sobre dinheiro\u201d:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Recentemente, outras informa\u00e7\u00f5es foram coletadas, e revelam a fonte de outro documento muito circulado quanto a \u201cPensamento sobre dinheiro&#8221;. J\u00e1 faz alguns anos que esse manuscrito circula nos Estados Unidos da Am\u00e9rica e no exterior. As c\u00f3pias variam de modo not\u00e1vel, e os Diretores dA Igreja M\u00e3e j\u00e1 afirmaram unanimemente que \u201cn\u00e3o t\u00eam conte\u00fado aut\u00eantico\u201d. Agora sabemos que esse artigo, em sua forma original, apareceu em uma revista editada e publicada por um ex-membro dA Igreja M\u00e3e, demitido, e por um s\u00f3cio dele, que deram ao texto o t\u00edtulo: \u201cAnota\u00e7\u00f5es feitas por um dos primeiros alunos da Sra. Eddy, quanto ao que ela ensinou a respeito de como pensar sobre dinheiro&#8221;. Nessa revista foram anunciados v\u00e1rios livros, entre os quais alguns cujos autores haviam sido demitidos dA Igreja M\u00e3e, porque seus escritos n\u00e3o estavam de acordo com os requisitos do Manual, no que diz respeito \u00e0 literatura sobre a Ci\u00eancia Crist\u00e3.
