\n\n\nCom frequ\u00eancia recebemos perguntas sobre um artigo intitulado \u201cDia\u201d. Ele come\u00e7a assim: \u201cQuando acordas de manh\u00e3 \u2014 deves entender e repetir \u2014 com compreens\u00e3o e de imediato \u2014 \u2018H\u00e1 apenas uma \u00fanica Mente\u2019 \u201d. Embora Mary Baker Eddy n\u00e3o seja a autora desse manuscrito, descobrimos algo sobre esse texto por meio de nossa pesquisa.<\/p>\n

O conte\u00fado foi extra\u00eddo de Bicknell Young, um dos primeiros praticistas e professores da Ci\u00eancia Crist\u00e3, que integrou o Quadro de Conferencistas dA Primeira Igreja de Cristo, Cientista. Em 1933, a Diretoria da Ci\u00eancia Crist\u00e3 escreveu a Young, perguntando-lhe sobre um manuscrito intitulado \u201cDia\u201d. A autoria desse manuscrito fora atribu\u00edda a ele, e estava circulando entre os Cientistas Crist\u00e3os.<\/p>\n

Young respondeu:<\/p>\n

…seja-me permitido dizer que eu sou o autor da ess\u00eancia do manuscrito \u201cDia\u201d que v\u00f3s anexastes, e que devolvo aqui.<\/p>\n

Para explicar melhor, devo acrescentar que as observa\u00e7\u00f5es que este manuscrito registra, de uma maneira um tanto inadequada, foram feitas em uma reuni\u00e3o da Associa\u00e7\u00e3o de meus alunos, h\u00e1 cerca de cinco anos. Lamento profundamente que estas e outras anota\u00e7\u00f5es tenham circulado amplamente em todo o campo, e fiz o melhor que pude para dar um fim a isso.<\/span>1<\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
