Colman (1849\u20131920), a Sra. Eddy realmente falou sobre isso:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Em uma de nossas aulas, ela [a Sra. Eddy] falou de uma bela ponte branca; embaixo da qual havia somente lodo, lama, cobras venenosas, r\u00e9pteis, tudo o que era impuro, bestas selvagens. Ela perguntou que caminho ir\u00edamos seguir: passar\u00edamos por cima ou por baixo da ponte? Todos n\u00f3s respondemos que passar\u00edamos por cima da ponte branca. Ela sorriu e disse que passar\u00edamos por cima ap\u00f3s termos passado por baixo e demonstrado a nulidade daquilo tudo, a mente mortal precisa ser primeiro vencida por completo.<span id='easy-footnote-1-90736' class='easy-footnote-margin-adjust'><\/span><span class='easy-footnote'><a href='https:\/\/www.marybakereddylibrary.org\/pt-br\/research\/mary-baker-eddy-alguma-vez-descreveu-uma-bela-ponte-branca\/#easy-footnote-bottom-1-90736' title='Janet T. Colman, s.d., Reminisc\u00eancia, 22.'><sup>1<\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Janet T. Colman era membro ativo no in\u00edcio do movimento da Ci\u00eancia Crist\u00e3, e trabalhou como praticista e professora da Ci\u00eancia Crist\u00e3 por quase 40 anos. Fez tr\u00eas cursos com a Sra.
