This episode begins the third year of Seekers and Scholars. We locate the podcast at the intersection of spiritual quest and scholarly inquiry. In light of this anniversary, host Jonathon Eder speaks with Dr. Dan Cohen of Northeastern University about how the academic podcast can play a healing role in society, speaking to a broad public and nurturing like-hearted audiences, rather than catering only to the like-minded. Their conversation covers the spiritual foundations of the academic world and the place of religion in American society. They also discuss common ground between The Mary Baker Eddy Library and Northeastern University as neighboring institutions.
