Podcast guests

Professor Clare Wright is an award-winning historian, author, broadcaster, and public commentator who has worked in politics, academia, and the media. She is currently Principal Research Fellow and ARC Future Fellow at La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia. You Daughters of Freedom (text)—the best-selling second book in her Democracy Trilogy, published in October 2018—followed her 2013 Stella Prize-winning The Forgotten Rebels of Eureka (text). Wright hosts the ABC Radio National history series/podcast ”Shooting the Past” and cohosts the LTU podcast ”Archive Fever”. She is a popular public speaker and interviewer, making frequent appearances at literary festivals, in television documentaries, on radio talk shows, and generally anywhere someone will give her a microphone. She lives in Melbourne with her three children and way too many pets.

-Terra Cutaia is a research associate at The Mary Baker Eddy Library. Her Women of History article on Vida Goldstein was published on the Library’s website in September 2019. Before coming to the Library, she worked for the preservation association Historic New England, as well as the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. She has a bachelor’s degree in history from Smith College and a master’s in library science (archives concentration) and history from Simmons College. Her master’s thesis focused on women’s correspondence and education in Colonial America.
