About the webcast

The Library hosted a live, hour-long online participatory discussion on biographies of Mary Baker Eddy. We considered their individual perspectives, histories, and agendas, and also looked into their influence on the public’s understanding of Mary Baker Eddy as an important writer and religious leader. The broadcast charted more than a century of literary and documentary twists and turns, from Retrospection and Introspection, Eddy’s 1891 autobiography, to A World More Bright, the latest publication of her life story.
