Authentications
A variety of writings attributed to Mary Baker Eddy and early Christian Scientists are in circulation. These include essays, articles, prayers, reminiscences, anecdotes, and fragments.
The Library provides information about the authenticity of these writings. In some instances we are able to verify the authorship of documents. At other times we can confirm that they are inauthentic. On occasion the extant information is inconclusive.
Consult the list below to learn about documents that we are frequently asked to authenticate. If you would like more information about a document that is not listed, or would like to suggest an entry, please contact us at [email protected] or 617-450-7218.
