A life of service can take a variety of forms, from focused work benefiting a close community to an overarching plan for the betterment of humanity. In 2010, the Library examined Mary Baker Eddy’s personal story of service through a year-long exhibition.

Peace Flag Exhibit

The flag on display in the Library is one of two that hung above the speakers’ podium during the 1907 Peace Congress proceedings in New York, presided over by Andrew Carnegie. The flag was given to Mary Baker Eddy in honor of her support of this and other peace movements.
