Folio. Full blue morocco levant. This is considered a masterpiece of Bruce Rogers, an American book designer and one of the foremost typographers of the twentieth century. Often called the “Oxford Lectern Bible,” this volume was made as a gift to the people of Canada to be placed in a chapel being built in Flanders’s fields to memorialize the Canadian soldiers who had died there during World War I.
