From the Papers: Encouragement in healing
Mary Baker Eddy regularly mentored her students as they embarked on their own healing practices. She did this in many ways—in letters, conversations, Christian Science Association meetings, and through her published writings.
One student, George B. Wickersham, wrote to Eddy in March 1885 about his Christian Science practice, mentioning a desire to perhaps move away from Chicago. Her response included this assurance: “I was pleased to hear from you and trust wherever you go it will be well with you. Our Father is everywhere present and it is His presence and power that heals.”
